1968 Martin D-28
1968 Martin D-28 with case, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, spruce top, has correct neck angle and playability. Bridge is firm and plenty of saddle, frets are in great shape, some wear spots on rear of neck and a spot on the back of the headstock where a music store probably put its decal in years past, now scratched off. The bottom side has a crack repair, done very well and hard to see. Top and back are crack free. The guitar has the patina and nicks and bumps associated with a great working instrument. The Brazilian rosewood is highly figured and very dark. As nice a guitar as you will find in terms of sound and playability; add the correct balance of tone and rare wood and you’ve got a SOUND investment for a musician at $4,99.
